Dunnottar landscape photographs

Landscape photographs from Dunnottar Castle at Stonehaven appear to have dominated the photography collection at the moment (10th June 2009) with up to 20 images for viewing. The landscape around Dunnottar is amazing, stone beaches and towering rock cliffs surrounding the castle. The stone beach is remarkable, large coloured stones that display their colours as the waves wet their surface leaving a glossy texture and high colour effect for photographers to capture. From the pictures at Dunnottar Castle some images are variations of a particular scene and others are distinctly different. Dunnottar Castle is a landscape photographers haven, worth a visit with your camera.

Dundee Howff photographs

The Howff photo set was taken in Dundee Tayside Scotland along Meadowside, the oldest graveyard in Dundee handed to the City by Mary Queen of Scots called the Howff. The Howff name comes from Meeting Place. In the Howff you can photograph engraved tombs from the nine trades of Dundee, the headstone of the inventor of the lick back stamp can be seen ( I couldn't find it, may have been stuck upside down at the back of the Howff ).

Landscape photographs Loch Wharral

A landscape photography trip in the glens began on a climb up to Loch Wharral in the Clova glens outside Kirriemuir. On the steep climb up Loch Wharral hill to the peak a few shots were taken over the valley. The walk or climb to Loch Wharral was worth every effort, at the top I encountered a photogenic scene of Wharral with surrounding 200ft steep hillsides, truly marvelous landscapes.
