As the seasons change the colours in gardens change, showing a rich colours, patterns and vivid textures.

Garden photographic record

Every spring you plan additions and modifications to your garden landscape around your home. The majority of gardens contain perennials, with a few annual baskets and pot plants for colour. And every year like most gardeners you try to remember what you planted, and how well each plant grew and never remember.

A great idea is to document your gardens progress over the year, by using your digital camera or hiring Pixeland as your garden photographer to record your garden landscape development.

From the menu on the right, take a look over examples of garden photography, these garden photographs are idea for photo albums of your garden and also for garden photo records.

Landscaped gardens to country estates

On the Pixeland front page you have read of our photography services in landscapes and wildlife, now added, farms, gardens and estates, large or small we have the artistic skills to capture all.

On a visit to one location west of the Dundee to Aberdeen A90 these images were taken, at a reservoir hidden away in the country between Glenquiech, Newmill of Inshewan and Ogil. The scenery is taken as it appears with no prior planning, these are the shots as follows. Glen Ogil reservoir, the trees along the waters edge of the reservoir facing south, Walking almost a mile further along Ogil reservoir this photograph takes in a north facing view of the trees on the opposite side. The photographs of this estate were few due to time limits but the beauty of this hidden away Loch at Ogil will certainly have a return visit soon.

Heading back along the reservoir waters edge, some of the smaller's subjects in gardens and estates can often be overlooked, this little frog hopping in the grass by an old tree stump is one of Loch Ogils reservoir wildlife residents. This macro (close-up) photograph taken of the little frog in the grass was only around 1cm in length and most likely thinks he's one of the most invisible creature at Glen Ogil wildlife reservoir.
