Dundee photographs

Dundee photographs of the Dundee City Centre begin with a photograph of the Murraygate and includes Beaverbrooks store, the store is painted decoratively in pale blue and beige and caught my eye immediately. In the foreground the old tram lines can still be seen.

A quick photo shot was taken in the passing of Edinburgh Woolen Mill in Commercial Street, Dundee. In the background of this photograph a man was rushing down the street with a box upon his head.

First mortgage a shop in Dundee took my attention due to the hi-vis signage above the shop front, as above this was taken quite quickly as two of Tayside police were fast approaching in the shot. Just on the left the figures of two Dundee police women were focused out to keep the peace.

The Holiday Inn Dundee is overlooking the Firth of Tay in Tayside, it had such an intense cyan colour it had to be included in the Dundee photograph collection.

An architectural marvel in the City of Dundee appears to be up for sale or lease, the stonework on this building will be beautiful when eventually re mastered to the architects original vision.

The Dundee railway bridge which crosses over the Firth of Tay is known as the Tay Bridge, since the construction in Dundee of the Tayside road bridge the name often used for the rail bridge has been changed unofficially to Tay Rail Bridge. In the shot a small boat in seen near the arches.

In Dundee the well known shopping centre has been included, the Wellgate Shopping Centre in Dundee City centre photographed with small amount of rubbish scattered by evil seagulls in the City Centre. Do you - A / pick it up ? B / ask the Tayside council to clear it ? or C / let seagulls ?

On a quick look around Lochee in Dundee, The name Lochee (eye of the loch) refers to the town's location on the banks of Loch Balgay, apparently drained in the 16th century by the Duncan's for farmland. I personally would have preferred the Loch in Lochee (put it back).

The Hilltown in Dundee is a mainly residential area to the north of the City Centre, this photograph is one of the Hilltown's residential multi buildings.

Looking for a photograph of Brown Street kennels in Dundee, this picture of a roof top seemed very interesting (at least to me) the blue bricks and blue sky with magenta coloured plant peering from behind the drain pipe. Typical, I then forgot to find the Dundee Brown Street kennels.

This hole in the path is available at Dura Street in Dundee, simply stick your foot in it, roll over and low and behold you can claim a free prize. This picture was taken on the 30th of July 2009.

At the Dudhope roundabout in Dundee two HTC cranes, to the left in this photograph a bus passed by titled Fishers, I was tempted to attach a fish on the end of the crane but settled for the red car driving round the Dudhope circle instead of excessive impressionist style photography.
